The marriage is the territory.
Spirit, Soul, and Body are not three approaches we choose between. They are three layers of the same human, and BRI refuses to restore one while ignoring the other two.
No asymmetry of pain.
Surfaced pain and deep buried pain. Both broken. Both in bondage. Both heirs. The husband does not stand on the sideline of the wife's work; the wife is not interrogated for what drove his choices.
Repentance as a lifestyle.
Not an event. A disposition. Persistent repentance is the husband's permanent posture — the architecture of the man being restored to his post.
The body stands down so the spirit can lead.
EFT and somatic tools are servants, not sources. The body is the temple and the battleground. We train the body to receive truth until the cycle breaks at the tissue level.
The Joseph Principle.
What the enemy meant for harm is the very ground from which the Lord forges the capacity. The pit, the prison, and Potiphar's house built the man who could govern Egypt. The testimony is the credential.
Couple-integrated, never parallel.
BRI is not for solo use. It is not for parallel tracks. Separation breeds suspicion and re-wounding. The marriage is the unit being restored.
Restoration Anthropology.
BRI sits inside a clinical-theological discipline we call Restoration Anthropology — the study of how the human person is restored, spirit, soul, and body, to the integrated image of God after betrayal, rupture, or formational injury.
Partner-trauma research, polyvagal-informed clinical practice, attachment science, and moral-development theory operate as instruments under the lordship of Christ — never as competing authorities.
Every wife is a Vessel. Every husband is a Vault.
Drawn from their own research silos, doing distinct work, honoring the genuinely different nature of the wife's forging through walking-through-survival and the husband's forging through walking-through-repentance.
The Five Vessels.
Five clinical capacities forged through walking through betrayal trauma. Each Vessel describes what she now carries — not what was already in her and is being recovered.

The Five Vaults.
Five clinical capacities forged through repentance, clustered by the documented driver typology underneath the betrayal. Three layers — capacity, driver, state — by design.
